The Pleasure Pier song cycle was built from letters, voice notes, and texts sent from Galveston Bay, Del Rio, and the Red River Valley to small towns in the Canadian north.

Pleasure Pier is accompanied by a companion artist book, Dramaturgies of Distance: Sound, Itinerancy, and Epistolary Performance, in development. The two function as conceptually related but autonomous art objects.
