Iroquois Falls emerged in 2009 from a personal loss, taking its name from the Northern Ontario birthplace of the friend whose death inspired the project. Released as a limited-edition 7” EP on yellow vinyl under the project name Iroquois Falls, the record arrived with a video for the single “Hey Annie, Twice-Born-Once-From-A-Gun,” previewed on NME.com. A second video, “The Magician’s Niece,” premiered in Interview Magazine (Erin Brady, May 25, 2012). The EP was reviewed in Magnet: “Film at 11: Iroquois Falls.” (Matt Litwin, March 16, 2012)
