The Pleasure Pier song cycle was built from letters, voice notes, and texts sent from Galveston Bay, Del Rio, and the Red River Valley to small towns in the Canadian north.

Pleasure Pier shares conceptual terrain with Dramaturgies of Distance: Sound, Itinerancy, and Epistolary Performance, a critical pamphlet in development. The two function as conceptually related but autonomous art objects.
